10 BEAUTY TIPS & TRICKS
I'm no beauty guru by any means but I am a girl and we all have different tricks with makeup!
Some of these you may know and some you may not but hopefully this helps a few of you!

Tip 1 - When applying your concealer, instead of rubbing it in windshield wiper motions under your eye you should always dab with your finger or brush from the outside of your eye into the corners. This will prevent wrinkles and lines as well as help your concealer to last to its fullest. This is also great for pictures. If you wipe under your eye instead of patting you'll notice in the picture it will look streaky. & that's never cute!
Tip 2 - Do your hair before your makeup! I know we all usually do our makeup before our hair BUT! The heat from your hair tools actually can dry the makeup out on your face such as your mascara. It also causes your makeup to melt a little causing it to go deeper into your pores.
Tip 3 - Everyone always wants their eye liner to stay on longer & I have a little trick for that! Put a shade of eye shadow that matches your eye liner on a small angled brush over top of your eye liner and smoked a little into the lash line and your liner will stay a lot longer!
Tip 4 - Apply white eye liner into your water line for eyes to appear larger. This is great for pictures!
Tip 5 - Want your lipstick to stay on longer? After you have applied your lipstick take a Kleenex over your lips, take a setting powder on a small brush and tap onto your lips threw the Kleenex. This makes my lipstick last a few hours longer and gives a great matte effect!
Tip 6 - This is a weird tip I picked up from a you tuber I watch but it actually works! If you love LONG spider lashes- this is for you! Do your mascara in front of a fan. This will allow your mascara to dry faster so you can do tons of coats without them looking clumpy!
Tip 7 - Got those annoying baby hairs? Take a clear mascara or clear brow setting gel and comb those baby hairs back! Perfect for that sleek up do!
Tip 8 - Use an eye primer to help your eye shadow last all day. I love Urban Decay!
Tip 9 - This tip is for shaving. I love using conditioner instead of shaving gel! My skin is way more refreshed after using the conditioner. It has great moisture in it. You can get some great in-expensive conditioner at Giant Tiger for $1.00
Tip 10 - Use baby powder instead of dry shampoo! This trick is good those days you need to cover up those greasy roots & baby powder lasts way longer then dry shampoo. Note: The baby powder wont add any lift like the dry shampoo but it does the trick if you need to cover the roots. This tip is great for fake blondes like myself who haven't been able to get to the hair salon!

BEAUTY ON A BUDGET! E.L.F LIP PRODUCTS
Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by.
Recently I purchased some items from Eyes Lips Face Cosmetics also known as E.L.F. I wanted to share my thoughts on a few of their lip products.
I am so obsessed with e.l.f right now, I recently picked up a few of their products from Target and fell in love! I then went on there website and am now even more obsessed! The prices of there makeup is amazing! The most expensive thing I purchased was $5.00! E.l.f always has sales going on and a ton of promotions. I received my makeup for buy one get one free! Also, they ship to Canada for a flat rate of $18.00. Usually they offer free shipping on orders over 35 dollars and they rebate you $8.00 so shipping is only $10.00. I received my order in about a week and a half. Pretty awesome considering they usually quote you 3 weeks. These products are great for being beautiful on a budget.
But anyways, Ill stop raving and get into the lip products!
The first product I wanted to mention is the Long Wear Lip Liner. I purchased Bitter and Mauve Luxe.
These liners are unbelievable! They glide so nicely onto your lips and
last a very long time! The colours are gorgeous and the Mauve Luxe is similar to the Kylie Jenner look everyone is crazy for right now.
Also, another great thing about these is how moisturizing they are. I was pleasantly surprised because usually lip liners are more on the dry side but these are great!
I would totally recommend these to everyone! They go for $ 1.00!! and you cant beat that price! It also comes packaged with a little lip sharpener! So cute!
& lastly the E.L.F Mineral Lipsticks! I picked 2 of these up in the colours Runway Pink & Ripe Rose.
I am also on the Kylie Jenner lip train and these ones are perfect for
that! They also give a lot of moisture into the lips but not as much as
the moisturizing lipsticks. These ones do however have that plain old
lipstick smell which I don't enjoy as much as the others but that's
alright! They are very long wearing & I didn't notice any patchiness
throughout the day. These ones are $5.00 but totally worth it!
They give you a great colour with great moisture & super long
lasting. Its really your perfect lipstick!
Overall these lip products are all awesome! I wish I broke out of my shell and ordered a few different colours, as you can see I stuck with pinks and reds. I would totally recommend checking out e.l.f or your local target for some of these products. They are super affordable and long lasting! These are great for the holidays because you can switch your lip colour up as often as you would like without breaking the bank!

Now, into the next 2 products! I purchased 2 of the Matte Lip Colours. The first is in Rich Red & the second is Tea Rose.
The packaging on these is so chic! I love the all black matte look. All
of there products look so high end & so clean cut. . The
pigmentation is great and the colours you can pick from are beautiful.
However, they were not as matte as I was expecting after reading the
reviews.They are long lasting but not as long as I hoped. I did have
to touch up a few times during the day to avoid patchiness but my lips
were also super dry. These go for $3.00 so the price is un
beatable. Just make sure to exfoliate your lips & I'm sure you'll
be fine! I'm totally going to re-try these ones out with nice exfoliated
lips!
Onto the lip sticks! The first two lipsticks are the Moisturizing Lipsticks. I picked up 2 in the colours Red Carpet & Wink Pink.
They were not lying when they said moisturizing! These little suckers
are amazing! They keep your lips nice and moisturized during the winter
seasons. The colour is also amazing, they are also very long wearing. I
also wanted to mention the sent, these ones smell a little on the sweet
side with a hint of vanilla. I love that they don't have that typical
lipstick smell! The packaging is also flawless and very clean cut! I'm
obsessed with these! For only $3.00 you cant for wrong with
these! Amazing selection of shades and I cant stop raving about the
moisture these give. Great for us in Canada right now!

Top 5 Products Under $10.00
Hello Bloggers!
Today I will be talking about my favorite 5 drugstore makeup products under 10.00.
This
was a pretty easy blog to write about considering I buy all my makeup
from the drugstore and try not to spend too much on anything. I love
finding bargains and if I can save a dollar anywhere, you better bet I
will. Recently I have found that buying my makeup from Target has seemed
to be the best prices. Walmart compares for sure but I prefer Target
over Walmart. I have stopped shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart, only
because there prices are a little more expensive for the same product. I
will however shop there when they have a sale.
As a side note, I
use an app called ReeBee to check all my flyer's before I go shopping
for anything I need. This app allows me to find the best deals in my
area and who doesn't love saving money!
Anyways back to the list!
My first product under 10.00 is the E.L.F Contour and Blush Kit
I
LOVE this blush! It gives me such a great shimmer and a natural pink. I
also love that this kit comes with a contour side. The colour is a
little dark for me but if I have my fake tan on, its perfect!
When I'm not wearing my fake tan I make sure to blend the product out really well.
My second product is MaybellineFit Me Foundation
I'm
so obsessed with this foundation its crazy! I have loved this
foundation ever since my Best Friend Jenn showed it to me. It gives you
such a flawless dewy finish that I love! The coverage is amazing and is
very buildable. I love that it comes in so many shades to make it easy
to match each skin tone.
My third product is the Maybelline Fit Me Powder
So
obviously the same as above, I'm so in love with this fit me powder. I
have been using this after my foundation with a powder brush or
sometimes I use the pad that comes with it. This powder is super long
lasting and gives a flawless finish.
My fourth product is the E.L.F Concealer and Highlighting Duo
This
product from E.L.F is amazing! I'm totally in love with all their
products! I have found Target stocks the most e.l.f products around
where I live so that's where I get most of my makeup. Back to
the product, this concealer is a fantastic colour for my skin! It has a
great coverage and is very blendable. I love that this product has the
highlighting end as well. I love to add the highlight to the bridge of my nose,
cheek bones and cupids bow.
& Finally my fifth
product under $10.00 that I recommend is yet another Maybellineproduct.
This mascara has been my holy grail since I was in grade 12. Its the Maybelline Stiletto Mascara in Darkest Black.
