ALICIA'S CLOSET

Today I'm going to share a few outfit idea's that are great for valentines day!
REBELLIOUS

This first look is probably my personal favorite! I love how it's a little rebellious with the ripped jeans and low cut tie up bodysuit. I paired this fitted bodysuit with some white ripped boyfriend jeans. The baggy white jeans look great with this super fitted top! To make it a little girly I added some strappy black heels and a cute white crossbody from Kate Spade. I also added a bright red Michael Kors bag as an option for a pop of colour! I also love the way a fitted leather jacket looks with this look. Giving it a little more rebel chic! I think a simple pair of gold studs would look great with this outfit. You wouldn't want a lot of jewelry since the top is low cut and has the tie up detail. A bold red lip would also look great with this look!

SIMPLE & GIRLY
This look is great for anyone who is still in school or just wants to keep it simple! I paired these light wash ripped jeans with a baby pink bodysuit. This makes it girly & comfy. Depending on what you are doing that day you can either wear a pair of tie up heels to dress it up or wear a pair of nude flats to dress it down. The accessories I choose for this outfit were simple large pear earnings to stick with the girly theme, great for v-day & a simple gold and white watch. Again using the same Kate Spade purse to keep it simple and girly. This outfit would look great with any nude-pink lip. My favorites are by Mac and there Velvet Teddy, Whirl and just a simple nude! You can always wear a pink lip if you're feeling extra girly!

DATE NIGHT
This look is super cute if you're going on a date! This two piece set is sexy and still very girly! I find if you're going to wear a bright red outfit you should tone down the accessories. I decided to go with nude heels and a nude purse to keep the attention on the outfit. I paired some simple gold studs with this outfit to match the gold bangle. Again simple yet girly and it doesn't take away from the outfit. A great lip option with this outfit is a simple nude lip. This one is a liquid lipstick from maybelline!

BUSINESS WOMAN

Last but not least, probably my second favorite outfit! This one is very business woman! I love the whole pant suit look! I find capes are very in this year and pull this outfit together. I love white on white so paired 2 different white crop tops with a wide leg dress pant. You can wear any shoe you prefer however, I find the black strappy shoe to look the best. If you're not into open toes shoes, you can always wear a simple black pointed shoe! Again, keeping the accessories simple, I went with a gold bracelet and the same white and gold watch. I think a simple small white crossbody looks great with this outfit! You can always add a pop of colour and go with a red statement bag! To complete the look I paired this outfit with a bold red lip!

& those are a few outfit idea's for valentines day! I hope you enjoyed them!

VALENTINES DAY OUTFIT IDEAS

Today I wanted to share 5 outfit ideas for Valentines day!
I really wanted to give 5 different outfit ideas for all tastes.
Hope you enjoy them!

" Girly "

For this first outfit I wanted to add a skater skirt because I find they are super comfy and cute! Since the skirt is a little more flared out, I decided to add a tight white lace top to the top. Lace is super romantic for Valentine's day. Adding a statement necklace is a perfect accessory. I always recommend, if wearing a statement necklace, keep the rest of your jewelry simple or non existent. You really want to focus the attention to one area and not all over the place. Adding pink shoes and a white bag makes the outfit girly and perfect for valentines day.

" Sophisticated "
With this look I was going for something that was a little more sophisticated. The matching grey top and skirt is so in right now! I love adding a pop of colour to a basic outfit. In this case, I thought pink was perfect for valentines day and is super flattering with the grey. I also did a statement necklace with this outfit as well with no other accessories to keep the attention on the necklace and outfit.

 " Rocker "
I love this outfit! The red dress with a touch of lace is super romantic and the leather jacket gives it such great character. It adds such a rocker vibe while still being girly. Since the top of this dress is lace I decided to go with no accessories. It keeps your attention on the dress and jacket. Pairing it with black high heels keeps the look clean and again focuses on the outfit itself. I decided to add a red clutch to the outfit to tie it all together.

" Casual "
With this outfit I was going for something that would be great to go to the movies in or great to wear during the day. The red pants add a pop of colour without being too much. The lace peplum top is romantic and flattering. It shows off your waist while still being comfy. With this outfit I wanted to add a touch of gold and I decided to do that with some bangles and gold studs on the black booties and purse. This just adds a little something extra to the outfit without being too bold.

 " Pretty In Pink "
This outfit is again girly and very flattering. The white pencil peplum skirt is flattering and cute for Valentine's day. I decided to keep the shirt basic and paired it with a basic pink v-neck shirt that has a little flair at the hips. I really wanted the outfit to be simple and girly so I added pink shoes and some cute gold bangles with pearls. I matched this outfit with a white bag to keep the attention on the outfit and accessories.

CLOSET ORGANIZATION TIPS & TRICKS

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by.
Today I wanted to share some of my tips and tricks on how I organize my closet. I share a small closet with my boyfriend & thought my tips could be useful for others who share a small closet. Even if you don't share a closet with anyone, some of these tips could help you make it look a little more clean and organized.

1. My first tip when organizing your closet with your partner is to declare sides. This will make everything easier!

2. Start with a blank slate when re organizing. Take everything out and put it all back in. This will allow you to take clothing out that isn't in style & pack them away until the seasons change.

3. Organize your clothes into a few different piles such as long sleeves, short sleeves, tank tops, jeans, leggings etc. This will keep things organized for when you start to hang and fold. You can keep things itemed together by style. This will make your closet look clean and organized.

4. Grab some clothing organizers - These are great if your on a budget and want to save some space. I usually put my casual shirts that don't need to be hung in these. I then designate each slot to a certain style of shirt. Example - Short Sleeves, Long Sleeves, Tank Tops, Polo's etc.You can put your organizers wherever you like! I like mine in the middle of the closet side by side with my boyfriends with a small gap in the middle to store extra hangers.

5. I love to organize by colour! This goes when I hang shirts & also when I fold them. It just makes it easier to find what I'm looking for.

6. Hang clothing by style. This could also be done by length! I like to do mine by dress tank tops, short sleeve dress shirts, long sleeve dress shirts, flannel shirts, cardigans etc all done by colour as well to keep it extra neat!

7. Hangers! I love to keep all my hangers the same colour and facing the same way. This will make your closet look 10x more organized just by keeping the colours the same. It looks super clean! Keeping the hangers the same way also helps to keep your clothing easy to grab and put away. It also adds for a cleaner look. You can purchase hangers from the thrift store. This is great if your on a budget. The packs usually come 15-20 for $1.00!

8. Keep your bottoms organized! I like to keep mine in order of leggings and lulu lemon pants, jeans organized by colour dark to light, coloured pants like white pants, beige pants, skirts, etc.

9. All the rules you are applying to your side of the closet, make sure your partner does the same! It saves a lot of room when both sides are organized.

10. Add shelving, drawers, or even your laundry baskets under all the clothes for extra storage! This is where we keep our socks, bras, etc.

& That's how I like to keep my closet organized, hopefully a few of my tips and tricks can help you!

ALL BLACK OUTFIT IDEAS
Hey Everyone, thanks for stopping by.
Today I want to talk about my addiction to black clothing! Its a serious obsession and I'm sure there is many of you out there who are obsessed like I am.
I love the way black looks on all body types, its so slimming and easy to wear. I also love that when you wear a black outfit you can add bright accessories.
There are a few things to keep in mind when styling an all black outfit.
 1. Make sure if you are going to wear black on black the blacks match. There's nothing worse then getting into the sun light and realizing your top is way more faded then your bottoms.
2. Make sure you are clean of deodorant marks! There has been numerous occasions were I have left the house and get somewhere and realize I have deodorant all over the side of me. Great!!
3. Don't go too black, if you know what I mean. You should always try and add a little colour or a little something to the outfit. Even adding simple accessories looks great!

Below are 10 outfits I put together from my very black wardrobe! I will also list where I got each item from & the price. I LOVE getting a deal on clothing, so if you love a bargain you will love these outfits! Just a reminder, I am Canadian so these are all Canadian stores. If not otherwise listed.
These outfits are fall inspired and are perfect for date nights, girls nights or any night! - thanks for visiting !
P.S I'm not wearing shoes in the pics but you can pair each outfit with your own style shoes & stockings! Mine are from the Dollar Store. I always get the best stockings from there for $1.25!!

FALL ESSENTIALS 2014
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by. Today I'm going to be talking about my fall clothing essentials. Since I do live in Northern Ontario it gets cold quick so my fall clothing HAS to be warm! I seriously hate being cold! And just a fun fact for everyone, it snowed today.. yup its, its actually Halloween!! ... wait, how lame do I sound that on Halloween I decided I wanted to write a blog! That's commitment people! anyways back into the important part! the clothes! Lol

My first clothing essential for fall is my leather jacket!
I have a brown one with a large collar and a basic black one. Both of my coats were purchased at Dynamite for $40.00. I LOVE the look of leather in the fall and think its a great staple piece to an outfit. You can dress and leather coat up or down.

Another fall essential is a scarf! I mean, duh. Everyone knows you need a scarf for fall/winter! But I love what a scarf does for an outfit. I love adding a pop of colour in my all black outfits with a scarf! You can also style a scarf so many different ways! Be sure to check my next blog on how to style scarfs!

For myself another fall essential is a cute pair of boots! I love the look of leather riding boots and I could die for a pair of knee high black leather boots with a little wedge heel! Not only does the leather boot keep my little toes warm but they look amazing for the fall season. I think its essential to own at least 1 good pair of boots! If your not into the whole boot thing you can always go for an alternative and go for an UGG boot! These are also super cute and casual and go with almost any outfit. I used to live in my UGG boots during college, they are so comfy!

My other fall essential is an over sized sweater! These are so in right now and I love the way they look with a pair of leggings! So adorable! I am such a bargain hunter its crazy so if your looking for cheap cute outfits, look no further! This sweater below (in black) is from stitches! It was only 10.00! Its great, it has a longer back to it so it covers my bumm and looks awesome with leggings.
. An over sized sweater can be paired so many ways! The two other sweaters are both over sized. The white sweater is regular in length and a little baggy its from Suzy Shier. The sweater in the middle is from Abercrombie and Fitch and I picked this one up at Winners for 12.00! Its a little shorter in length but fits super baggy and I love the way it looks with a pair of skinny dark wash ripped jeans.

These are just a few essentials I use to keep warm in the fall! Hope they help!
xoxo alicia
